I grabbed Data Studio on sale without really knowing what it was, mostly because I’d heard of KillDisk. Turns out, over time it’s been a lifesaver. It didn’t just help me wipe my old PC before selling it, but also saved my brother-in-law’s computer when Windows crashed—thanks to the Boot Disk recovery tool. Best part? It’s not a subscription. One-time purchase, full access. If you own a computer and want peace of mind for when things go sideways, I’d highly recommend it.
Data Studio is a data management has many apps which enable user to perform various tasks like data recovery, data erasure or backup. Boot disk also comes as a feature which can be installed on a USB. I have used it for several years now, and apart from maybe old-ish UI and too many data recovery apps (three when just one would suffice), I cannot find any big complaints.
Data Studio is a good solution for the techies, but also for anyone who wants have a reliable "just in case" software. The suite features LSoft's data recovery, security and backup applications. If you cant boot your computer there is Boot Disk. I have no regrets purchasing it, however some of the apps deserve a facelift.
